43 “For there is no good tree which produces bad fruit, nor, on the other hand, a bad tree which produces good fruit. 44 For each tree is known and identified by its own fruit. 很多时候，我们试图通过修饰言语或伪装行为来改变自己在他人眼中的形象，但这种努力往往是短暂且脆弱的。就像树木的种类决定了果实的品质一样，一个人的价值观、道德底线和内心修养，最终都会通过他的言谈举止不经意地表现出来。
它提醒我们要进行“根源性”的修行：与其费尽心思去修剪“果实”（改变表象），不如深耕自己的“内心”（改良本质）。当一个人内心充满了善意、正直与智慧，他所散发出的言行自然会如甘甜的果实般利人利己。“诚于中，形于外”，这不仅是一种道德要求，更是一种生命最真实的自然律。
